Matt Noblin took the reins at Sandersville in July 2024 after serving as assistant principal since 2017. He has been a part of the Sandersville community since before the school was even under construction.
Noblin started his career in 2006 as a fifth grade teacher at what was then called Linlee Elementary. To accommodate the growth in the adjacent Masterson Station area, construction on a larger school to replace Linlee began in the spring of 2007. When the building – renamed Sandersville Elementary – opened in August 2008, Noblin was part of the inaugural staff. In 2015, he became the school’s STEM Lab teacher before moving into administration two years later.
Noblin holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Kentucky, a master’s in School Counseling and his Rank I from Eastern Kentucky University, and his principal certification and education specialist’s degree in Instructional Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands.
Our schools are closed Sept. 30 through Oct. 4. Students return to class on Monday, Oct. 7.
